Becoming something of a favourite destination, The Plumes rarely disappoints.
A total of eight made the trip today, with numbers probably down for a Thursday because of holidays etc.
Alan lead Kris, John D and Andy E on a faster and slightly extended (though probably not deliberately!) route, arriving about 5 mins before myself, John H, who’d joined us at Wymondley, Geoff H, and Christina M from the East Herts section, who took a rare and most welcome opportunity to join us for the ride.
After a pleasant lunch in the very scenic garden, we stayed together as far as Datchworth, where Chris, John H and Alan turned left to make their own ways, and the rest of us turned right for Watton.
