Another fine Tuesday morning, and five of us met at the fountain; Jack, Mia, Ronnie and Kris, with Adrian leading.
I was running late but new their route and was expecting to join at some point, and fortuitously I spotted the group (from my lift!) as they took a detour to St.Ippolyts Post Office for Mia to buy a bottle of water, having left her bike bottle in the fridge… we’ve all done it!
So on we went to lunch at Pepperstock via Kings Walden and Chiltern Green, where Geoff P, Mick and Mick’s spouse Bridget were already enjoying there. Nice to see Bridget again 
We spent a very pleasant hour over lunch, slightly disturbed by the odd aircraft taking off from nearby Luton Airport.
I returned by the direct route – through Luton TC, whilst the others had a delightful meander through the lanes back to Preston, where Adrian left the others to head home.
