Warm and overcast today, and less windy than of late, though still a strong enough Southerly to cause a bit of bother on the way back.
Two groups left the fountain, with Geoff P leading Martin and Steve L by the direct route, and Adrian leading Mia, John D, Geoff H, Steve C and Jack on a slightly longer route.
We arrived at our destination within a few minutes of each other. Stuart joined us, having driven out, and Alan arrived a little later having left Hitchin late, making eleven in all.
Always good fare at Woodview, we spent a pleasant hour before setting off for the return, in the same groups as before, my group returning via Ashwell, and Geoff’s group via Langford.
