In September this year, a group of us will be cycling from Edinburgh to Oxford to raise awareness of living kidney donation. We will be cycling on behalf of Give a Kidney, a small charity whose vision is ‘no waiting for a transplant for want of a kidney’. We will cycle also for the fun of it, 500 miles in six days, calling in at more transplant centres in Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, and Birmingham.
