On a damp, windy but mild day, I met the group at Arlesey Station, and waiting for me there were Kris, Mia, John D, Derek and Richard.
The routes out and back included wind assisted and hindered sections, so that balanced out nicely!
The re-vamped indoor space at The Barn is very good, I think that’s the first time we’ve used it as a group, as we’ve usually been outside.
On the return, the expected rain only amounted to a few spots so in spite of the forecast we thankfully stayed dry!
The LGC out and back distance was 35 miles, at an average of approx. 13.5 mph, distinctly swift for a Thursday ride.
