Beautiful day for a ride. Just 4 at the Fountain this morning – Adrian, Mia, Nigel and Ronnie, with me, late as usual, joining en route in Baldock.
Five in Total
Headwind all the way out to Nuthamstead, via Baldock, Sandon, Buntingford and Wyddial but we maintained a good pace.
Fortunately all roads were dry
We sat outside at the Woodman Inn – service was quick and the food was okay. – I caught a bit of sun on my arms !!
I was pressed for time and took the direct route via Wyddial, Buntingford and Baldock with the wind behind all the way.
The others took the longer route via Barkway, Reed, Therfield, Ashwell, Hinxworth and Stotfold.
Hope for more cyclists on Thursday
