Four of us met at the Fountain this morning for our ride to The Forest Centre at Marston Moretaine. The four were Kevin, Alan, myself and Adrian who took the lead. We took the anticlockwise route via Ireland and Houghton Conquest on our outward journey with Nige joining us at Arlesey. Steve had said that he would join us for lunch but as he had a late start from home he did not arrive until just before we were about to set off on our journey back. No matter, as Steve had his own circuit planned. We came back via Ampthill and Shefford. Our luck was in today as apart form some insignificant spots of rain here and there, we remained dry, on a rather chilly day. The wind was against us on our outward journey but made for an easy ride back. As usual a nice circuit of approx 42 miles. Stuart.
