Well I did say it would be lumpy! Four cyclists set off from LGC,, Stuart, Alan, Kevin and myself, and for most of the outward trip we had the benefit of a tailwind from the NE. On arrival we found Jack waiting for us, who had ridden out from Hitchin on a somewhat less testing route.
