Sixteen Inter riders enjoyed a showery ride from Rothamsted to Streatley on 25th May. Although the route from Rothamsted was 34 miles with 1800 ft of ascent (54km/550m), those who started from St Albans clocked up 55 miles with 2550ft of ascent (90km/790m). There were plenty of refreshments with coffee and cakes at the Rothamsted cafe to start, lunch at Streatley (picnic or pub), and afternoon tea at Harpenden Oval to round off the ride.
